The corner of Maple Street is grey and empty. A gardener named Rosa stops there one morning.
"This could be a garden," she says. She brings soil, seeds and small pots.
Some people laugh. But Rosa is patient and diligent. She plants a little every day.
Children help her. She is kind and shows them how to water the seeds.
Weeks later, there are flowers and a small bench. Neighbours sit there after work.
Rosa feels gratitude when she sees them. She did not make a park. She made a place where people can rest.
A thought to keep
A small garden can change a whole street.
