Every night, the moon rose over the ocean. It was round and white, like a lamp in the sky.

A little boat lived by the water. The boat had no name. It wanted to see the moon, but it was too small to sail far.

One night, a fish swam beside the boat. "Follow me," said the fish. "I know a quiet way."

The boat followed the fish past the dark water. A bird flew above them and sang a soft song. "Keep going," said the bird. "The moon is close."

At last, the boat reached a calm place. It could see the moon and every star in the sky. The water was still and bright.

The boat did not need a name. It only needed the moon, the stars, and the friends who showed it the way.

From that night on, the little boat went out to watch the moon. And when it felt small, it remembered: even small things can find the light.

A thought to keep

Small things can still find the light.
