Read the dialogue

Lina: Hi, Ben.

Ben: Hi, Lina. Good morning.

Lina: Good morning. How are you?

Ben: I'm fine, thank you. And you?

Lina: I'm fine too. This is my friend, Mia. She is in my class.

Ben: Hello, Mia. Nice to meet you.

Mia: Hello, Ben. Nice to meet you too.

Ben: We have English class now. See you in class.

Lina: See you, Ben. Have a good day.

Mia: Goodbye, Ben.

Say it out loud

Read the dialogue again. Change the names to your own names.

Then try these three lines:

Hi, I am ______. Nice to meet you.

Good morning. How are you?

I'm fine, thank you. And you?

Remember

Hi is for friends.
Hello is safe with anyone.
Good morning is for the morning.
When someone says "Nice to meet you", you can say "Nice to meet you too."
